About this picture

Hoi An is a treasure in Vietnam that few people know about. The entire ancient town once was the main trading port along the Thu Bong river and is a UNESCO site kept in pristine condition. The narrow alleys are filled with tea houses, silk shops, coffee shops, an assortment of food, and French colonial, Chinese, and Japanese architectural influence from its long melt-pot history. Visit for a day if you're staying in Danang about an hour north, but I recommend staying for a few nights to truly appreciate this time capsule.
